That little boy will have this crime follow him in visible scars for the rest of his life. The people who hurt him should have to pay in every way dictated by law. You have to watch your words, words mean things. What Mark Chase said may not have been meant the way that he said it. But, the idea behind those words is very obvious. Those children shouldn't have to pay for their CRIMES for the rest of their lives. But, they SHOULD pay, and they should pay NOW. The focus of your sympathy should be for the victim NOW, not for the people who tried and succeeded in hurting him.

This police department defends teens that attempted to murder a baby of 8 years old. Police chief chase is disgusting. Hang your hat pathic leadership. Those teens knew what they were doing. How stupid are you? What are you defending? Monsters. Those 3 thugs will always have a crimal history. You aren't protecting anyone.

Do the right thing, Police Chief Mark Chase, resign. Save yourself whatever shred of dignity you have left. You choose to hide the names of attempted murders!

How is this "Protecting and Serving"?? OH! Did you think that oath was for criminals??

Its sad this department will let a hate crime go so easily..... Justice should be done to the kids who committed this hate crime period....... Step up and let justice decide there fate..... Any other state this would be considered a hate crime........chief chase do what is right! Not what you think protecting this town will do......let the town feel the rath. But leave this knowing the town is under fire... Be real.... What would happen if these were your children?

The police chief cares more about the future of racist super-predators/thugs who go around attacking 8 year old Brown/Black children.... than the actual victim. They lynched him! Brown and Black boys are regularly charged as adults... If you care about justice, these teenagers should be treated the same. Try them as adults with attempted murder and a hate crime. The nation is watching and will take action if you don't.

I want justice, and that means releasing the names of these TEENAGERS whom sought to murder an 8yr old boy. Children younger than a teenager are fully capable of understanding physical harm and death.
